The Rosie Project by Graeme Simsion This novel is a dynamo of a story about a Sheldon-"esque" man, Don Tillman. This dynamic character has OCD, and is very likable. Additionally, he changes throughout the book, which continues to connect him to the reader. Tillman's friend and colleague, Gene, is a "hound"; a skirt-chasing dog, who attempts to bed a woman from every country, even though he is married. Rosie is a neurotic, psychology PhD candidate and a bar maid. Through an arranged meeting by Gene, Tillman and Rosie begin an unexpected friendship that continues to have its ups and down because Don over-analyzes his life, situations, and people. The novel had readers smiling and laughing at the antics and situations which Don would encounter. Readers enjoyed the novel. | Meeting Attendance Karla Lori Kathy Sheryl Lisa Cindy Bill |
