The Ocean at the End of the Lane by Neil Gaiman Gaiman's novel was voted Goodreads 2013 Best Fantasy novel, and some readers agreed with this award. However, some readers were confused by the overall plot of the novel. The idea that not everything can be explained is a theme woven throughout the novel. Many times young people have a connection from this world into the next, and Gaiman show that throughout the plot. The connection between one world and the next was another discussion held by readers. It brought up the question, "What do you think happens when you die?" Readers who enjoy fantasy novels with extraordinary characters will enjoy this novel. | Meeting Attendance Karla Lori Lisa Anne |
