So I had to check this bad boy out once I heard about it. It definitely puts mine to shame and looks great. I need to learn how to incorporate some of those words on shapes transitions and placing words inside pictures. That looks really fabuloso. Also cool- Nintendo invented the year I was born. However, one of my workbooks references MacIntosh computers and I have to explain that they existed before Apple - the kids are amazed. Man, I feel old; not cool. Pretty amazing to see how quickly the advancements have picked up in the past so many years. thanks for the run down :)

Karla, I could use the article Prezi with third grade. It's so basic to good writing and applicable to all grades.I have to work on that "spin" effect in the Prezi somehow I missed that when I was constructing and I really like it. I've seen it in several Prezis.

Really cool! demonstrates mastery of...OK, I will cut out the edu- jargon. Really nice job with the prezi--actually lays out the information in a consistent way. This was my fear--that the screen would get too busy, and students might not have the patience to follow it. However, I think the level of interest is high, and should keep them "engaged," to borrow another trend word. Nice job!

Cool, Karla! I like how the whole Prezi centered around the title. Digital storytelling is something I hope to do with my students. Your Prezi makes me want to know more about it, and check out the full article.
