Module #6

Module 6 Rubric
Many of you are familiar with writing a research paper. The next 4 modules will take you through the writing process from brainstorming, pre-writing, drafting, and final submission.
In addition, you will be preparing and implementing an oral presentation, which will take place in class before your peers.

Begin Module 6 by first posting on the class blog and then read through Purdue OWL's online writing lab "Writing a Research Paper." You will need to gain knowledge throughout your readings, which will be assessed through an online quiz.

Module 9 Rubric
Modules 8 and 9 are going to be completed during the same week. There is no need to have an entire week to complete Module 9.
Therefore, Module 8 will be due on Friday as normal; however, you will have 2 additional days in which to complete Module 9 (blog, vocab, and finished research paper).

Creating Citations in a Presentation

Oral presentations about your research paper will take place in class following the end of Module 9.
You will need to follow the rubric below in creating the presentation, which has been shared with you via Google Drive.
Additionally, you will need to have a handout that also revolves around your project. Please be sure to have enough for the entire class and your teacher.
