Instructions for using Google Documents:
- If you don't already have a Google Account, create one by going to Google.com
- Sign in to your Google Account, and go to Google Drive
- Google Drive is an online program which is very similar to using a word processing program. For instructions, CLICK HERE
- Create a document (please be sure to title the document and add your name to the document)
- Type just like you would if you were using Microsoft Word or another word processing program.
- To Share the document with your instructor:
- Click the blue SHARE button located on the upper right of the screen
- Enter your instructor's email address [listed above] in the area required (make sure your instructor has privileges to at least make comments)
- Click the DONE button at the bottom of the box.
- You will need to bring a hard copy to class with you each time. Just print out your essay and bring it along.

COMMON APPLICATION SAMPLE ESSAY
Essay #1 - Evaluate a significant experience, achievement, risk you have taken, or ethical dilemma you have faced and its impact on you.
Essay #2 - Discuss some issue of personal, local, national, or international concern and its importance to you.
Essay #3 - Indicate a person who has had a significant influence on you, and describe that influence.
Essay #4 - Describe a character in fiction, a historical figure, or a creative work (as in art, music, science, etc.) that has had an influence on you, and explain that influence.
Essay #5 - A range of academic interests, personal perspectives, and life experiences adds much to the educational mix. Given your personal background, describe an experience that illustrates what you would bring to the diversity in a college community or an encounter that demonstrated the importance of diversity to you.
